Inspiration

Bai Ze is a mythical beast that turns misfortune into fortune and is a symbol of auspicious omens. It can see the past and predict the future, and it can also speak the human language. It once created a chart of ghosts and deities at the request of the Yellow Emperor (also known as "The Illustrated Record of Bai Ze"). Aftwards, Bai Ze was seen on ceremonial robes; during the Tang Dynasty, there was a Bai Ze flag used during imperial processions, and in the Ming Dynasty, there were Bai Ze garments with Bai Ze on them for nobles.


Scent Profile

This fragrance opens with light and airy notes of orange blossom, followed by rich and wet notes of bamboo and white flowers, ending with grounded, woody base notes. Bamboo themed fragrances are not common and this one is especially wearable. The notes of this scent are distinct with bamboo as its core. It embodies a dynamic interplay of stillness and movement like the Eastern preference of tranquility and the lush, vibrancy of greenery.
