Jacques Huclier
Born in France, Jacques Huclier is a senior perfumer renowned for his bold and innovative creations. His passion for fragrance ignited at a young age, which led him to study at ISIPCA in Versailles. There, he discovered the power of scent and began his career at Haarmann & Reimer, refining his skills under the guidance of respected perfumers Olivier Cresp and Pierre Bourdon. Huclier later joined Quest and returned to Givaudan in 2003, where he currently excels as a senior perfumer.
Huclier gained recognition in 1996 with the creation of Mugler A'Men EDT, a revolutionary gourmand fragrance that remains popular today. His portfolio also includes other notable fragrances from prestigious brands. With a competitive spirit, Huclier emphasises uniqueness and emotional resonance in his work, typically starting with a strong accord. He has inspired many aspiring perfumers throughout his career, attributing his success to the mentorship of Cresp and Bourdon, who instilled in him the values of perseverance and humility.
