Inspiration

Inspired by Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s The Social Contract and Discourse on the Origin and Basis of Inequality, this fragrance reimagines the myth of Eden through the birth of ownership. Here, the “original sin” is not the tasting of the apple, but the moment humanity claimed possession — when division replaced harmony, and innocence gave way to alienation. In this retelling, mankind, fearful of its own estranged reflection, blames the fruit to absolve itself, even as it continues to exploit what was once shared. It is a meditation on the loss of purity — the scent of paradise fractured by desire and possession.
